HELP for Peace conducted Basic Life Support – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training to the hospital staff of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital. This includes nurses, volunteers, trainees and administration aides of the hospital. This training started August 20, 2008 up to October 22, 2008 and is composed of 36 batches with 20 participants per batch. The goal of this training is to prepare hospital staff for any disaster that will strike, damaged hospitals due to disaster could not function well and the staff on duty should know what to do and be trained for emergency management in case their station will be damaged by disaster.

Part of the training is management for wounds, bleeding control, bandaging, splinting, lifting and moving of patients and triage. HELP for Peace introduced the organization to the participants and encouraged them to take part in sharing their knowledge to the people who are in conflict areas or areas where health centers are far from them, interested participants can join through the organizations volunteer program for health professionals.
